Putting the Delightful and Dorky in D&D

While watching YouTube shows on my new favourite passion, D&D, I came across one video called: “D&D Story: Doomed the Universe with Karaoke (My Bad)” and I was interested, and laughing. Right off the bat, I found her form of storytelling, and simple but animated (both senses of the word) drawings mesmerizing. She was hilarious, there was a lot of emotion in every moment, and the stories kept you at the edge of your seat like a thrilling Saturday morning anime/cartoon. I found I could never wait until the next episode and have been hooked on it since.

Her (D&D) stories, thus far, have been narrating an ongoing campaign DM’d by her boyfriend Felix, and with some friends. It goes through a homebrewed universe run in the 3.5 version of Dungeon’s and Dragons, and follows the antics of Dingo’s character Sips – the awakened, wild-magic wielding, monkey (and company).

I can truly say, if you like great storytelling, artwork that enhances but does not distract from the content, and an episodic style story – you will love Dingo Doodles.

I also recommend checking out her other videos, as they are equally amazing! A mix of great crossover videos, some hilarious life stories, and amazing speed-paints are all available on the same channel.

You can find their YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfPUcG3oCmXEYgdFuwlFh8w. They also have a comic series, available at: https://electricbunnycomics.com.

May the d20 ever roll in your favour!
